It's gonna be a Bright Bright Sunshiney Day

Out for a walk on a beautiful December day in Boise
We thouroughly enjoyed the sunshine for the first time in quite a while!

Mckenna brought her bear along to enjoy the weather

I think she looks like a little model here, she cracks me up!

First giggle fit of the day....not to be the last by any means!!!!

My artsy fartsy shot for the day, I loved the reflection in the puddle and all the color on my little girl.

Today was a much needed break from fog and clouds and work and school.  Mckenna and I took a nice walk around the neighborhood then met Sam at school to feed the ducks.  It felt wonderful to just get outside for a while.  Due to crazy airfares over the holidays, we won't be making it back to NE over Christmas this year.  We are hoping to make it out really soon though and can't wait to see all of our family out there.  We are hoping to make it to MT for Christmas this year due to the change of plans, weather permitting.  Praying for NO SNOW between now and Wednesday.  Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, etc!  Hoping whatever you celebrate is wonderful, relaxing, and filled with joy!

Bathroom Humor

December 2, 2010

I was just sitting at the kitchen table, Mckenna was in the bathroom
Soon I hear.....
 "Mom, I need help wiping."
I arrive, wipe and flush the toilet
Me, thinking..."jeez kind of  a big poop for a little girl."
Mckenna, "My bumm kinda hurts."
Me, "Ya, you kinda had a big poop."
Mckenna, "How big was it?"
Me, "I don't know, just kind of big."
Mckenna, "Was it as big as a Hamster?"

Histerical mommy for like 20 minutes.....who is this child????

On an absolutely different note....finally posting pictures of the last couple of weeks!
Roses in our backyard still bloomed until late November....beautiful!

Mckenna and I helping Sam brine the Turkey!!!

It was a SNOWY Thanksgiving....we got stuck in Boise.

Lots of fun playing in all the snow

Homemade hot coaco.....um yummy, especially after an hour outside!

Celebrated Thanksgiving with the Dalbey family, very nice way to spend a stranded holiday!

A great visit from Kristen and other MT folks.....Go Cats Go!

And finally.....the Cat/Griz game...that we WON!!!!!!!!
